Grammatophyllum speciosum
After long time not posting in my blog, today I'll start to post the journey of growing and flowering Grammatophylumm scriptum. I have acquired the plan 3 years ago, the plant with 4 bulb. I put it on a pot with 60cm diameter. For the media I use fern and coconut chip, and use 3 small pot inverted in the bottom in order to create more aeration. No special fertilizer, I spray the plant with the same fertilizer as my other orchids. The photo shows 18 bulb of plan after 3 years of growing.

Book: Orchids
I would like to suggest the author to put a new title: Orchids for Perfectionist. In this book you could find photos of award wining orchids, and you could set your new standard of growing and flowering the orchids. Since this book has a lot of photos, many find this book is also suitable for coffee table book, and will enjoy the extraordinary beautiful orchid.

This is very beautiful blue Ascocenda - my best Ascocenda in collection, the blue color is so vibrant and rich. Flowering freely every four to five months.

Vanda Dr. Anek Somsri
This is my second post of an award wining Vanda. The flower is very round and waxy, and last for more than two weeks and flowering twice a year.

Rhynchostilis retusa
I have it for 3 years, and this time the plant give me a present with 2 spike of beautifull flowers. This is prove that many people said, growing orchids is about patient, consistence, and persistence ;-)
